like i said in my previous post, there are some little details in a dress that makes it perfect for me. and one of them are pockets. i like pockets. a lot. its a nice place for my hands and a nice convenient place for little things that i might like to keep in there to keep my hands company. well, you get the idea. SO, with all this in mind, i wish i knew they made wedding dresses with pockets or thought of that when i picked out my wedding dress! i love my wedding dress (still wanting to put it on every now and then) very very much but pockets!!! c’mom. i could have asked for pockets for mine too since i am sure they could have done that… it would have been perfect since i never know what to do with my hands when i get nervous and have tons of people starring at me. and i cant really be biting my nails on my wedding day (even though you would think i could since it is MY SPECIAL DAY afterall). oh pockets! you came in too late in my life for my special day. but at least i have you on a regular everyday kind of day.

i saw these and want to put them on and go flying up in the air with the giant fluffy marshmellow in the sky just like KiKi in the movie KiKi Delivery Service(and oh! her giant red bow! it inspires me the day i was exposed to the movie).
all the dresses contain a certain element of what i want in a dress – big puffy sleeves, pockets in the front, perfect length, buttons, a-line and SO much fun to be had.
oh! how i wish i can wear them when spring comes!! please show up at my door step and let me have you!
today i did an adult thing:
blind-date-meeting-of-a-local-fellow-blogger for the FIRST TIME.
okay i admit it. i was a bit nervous walking into our place of choice because its been a long time since i went and met someone without ever talking to them (well, we had a history of 2 emails) and i dont want to mess it up and leave a weird impression. and of course i was late! (stupid traffic and the whole cannot text while driving thing)
BUT anyway, to the good part.
JENNIFER is super cool and SO sweet. we didnt know what each other look like but i did a pretty good guess of picking her out at a crowded place (and she is one of the few that had a pretty smile and a cute little outfit on). wait – i hope i dont sound like i am checking her out?
we talked and she told me a little about herself and what she is about and she gave me all kinds of wonderful tips.
it was just nice to be able to meet someone new.
i left feeling like i did a successful adult thing.

all these wood clog has been popping out everywhere but i wasnt really feeling it for my feet since i have bad ankles that sometimes when i am walking, it kind of just give out on me with no warning. and a clog is not good since i need contained shoes on my feet. so now i found these boot clog which i believe will contain my feet very well. its a boot with a clog but yet i can walk around not worrying that my ankle will give out and blast my shoe away from me (or hit some other stranger along the way).
reminder: size 8.
PLEASE. for the sake of my ankle or the stranger that i will hit with my shoe.
